Holy Hour
Is there something special in your life that you would like to bring to God? Do you have a particular need, a special situation, that you would like God’s help with, or a special joy that you wish to share with Jesus?
Each Monday evening at 7:00 pm, members of our parish and surrounding parishes gather for an hour of prayer, Scriptural readings, hymns, and silent adoration. The Holy Hour provides each person an opportunity to bring before Jesus, in the Blessed Sacrament, the cares, concerns, joys, sorrows, and thanksgivings that we all experience each day.
This Holy Hour is a time for Him to speak to us in his own special way, a time for us to reverently acknowledge His love and mercy for us, His people, and a time to listen for the direction of the Holy Spirit. Devotion to the Blessed Sacrament has been recommended over the centuries by saints, popes, bishops, priests, deacons, and lay persons as a means to grow in grace and favor with God. The evening liturgy complements the holy sacrifice of the Mass and extends the opportunity for us to be with Jesus.
Come join us as we pray together, as the Apostles did, in the presence of Jesus. Come as a family or as an individual-all are most welcome.
